Do you ever get the feeling that Tea Party Republicans see the phrase “Ignorance Is Bliss” as a Mission Statement?

Palling Around With Terrorist?

Since most of my republican friends and family would never go to left leaning blogs to read the truth...let me post it here!  By the way, Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin are not victims of the Koch Brothers.  Both of them are quite willing to take "terrorist money" because neither of them give a damn where the money comes from as long as it keeps coming!  Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin have always been Self Appointed Prophets but those with a brain know that they are really False Prophets For Profit!-Mem

Profits from the Koch Brothers’ Iranian Treason Pay Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck

If you’ve ever been enraged by the hypocrisy of the never-ending drum beat for “small government” by the Sarah Palin/ Glenn Beck type Tea Partiers, buckle your seat belt.

The much-awaited Bloomberg article hit the net last night and blew the lid off of the carefully guarded and barely recovering Koch Brothers’ reputations with revelations of Koch’s secret sales to Iran. This morning, the financial ties between Koch Brother Axis of Evil money and conservative spokespeople like Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck were further exposed.

Bloomberg revealed the deaths, bribes, felony charges, envelopes stuffed with cash, criminal violations, deliberate poisoning of the air with cancerous smoke, and hundreds of millions of fines behind the Koch Brothers. They revealed that employees are taught to cheat and steal under “The Koch Method.” Oh, and the Kochs sold millions of dollars in petrochemical equipment to Iran, a country recognized for sponsoring terrorism but also one of three countries in the George W Bush identified “Axis of Evil.”

It’s ironic that Sarah Palin, whom the Koch brothers money paid to speak on behalf of the “Tea Party,” has accused President Obama of “palling around with terrorists.” See, the money from those petrochemical sales funded Americans for Prosperity which funds the Tea Party which pays people like Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck to speak. David Koch is in fact the founder of Americans for Prosperity. This money trail is no longer murky.

Based on an analysis of FEC filings and IRS disclosure, Kenneth P Vogel of Politico reported this morning, “POLITICO’s analysis of disclosures filed with the Internal Revenue Service and Federal Election

Commission found that the large groups spend big bucks on salaries, like the $500,000 that FreedomWorks paid its chairman, Dick Armey, endorsements from radio hosts like Glenn Beck and Mark Levin, and speaking fees to movement heroes like Sarah Palin and Samuel “Joe the Plumber” Wurzelbacher, not to mention millions more on consultants and ad buys.”

Explaining how the groups like Americans for Prosperity and Freedom Works fund the Tea Party, Vogel detailed, “All the groups say they provide training, yard signs or help planning rallies and booking speakers.

The Express has held dozens of rallies around the country and in April reported paying a $750 honorarium to Wurzelbacher, while Americans for Prosperity in 2010 spent $1.9 million on event planning, and $253,000 on honoraria including a $128,000 payment to the speakers’ bureau that represents Palin, with whom AFP had contracted to speak at its Defending the American Dream Summit in Clarkston, Mich., in May 2010.”

AFP also paid Palin to go to Wisconsin to tell the Fox brethern how bad unions were. Clearly we can see how well her employers treat people. Why would anyone need a union? Then there’s Glenn Beck, paid by Freedom Works. The Kochs denied having anything “specific” to do with Freedom Works, but Karoli at Crooks and Liars traced Koch brothers money into the origins of Freedom Works.

Apparently the notion that Beck, Hannity, Limbaugh et al are corporate whores is more accurate than many know. They are up for sale. For the right price, they will endorse an ideology on the air without disclosing their financial relationship to the “ideology”.

The unholy alliance between the Koch Brothers, the Tea Party and conservative “personalities” is funded in part by the shady secret sales of petrochemical equipment to Iran. These are the same Right wing personalities who make a lot of money selling “small government”, hatred of Muslims, a disturbingly devoid of patriotism version of nationalism, and unfettered markets.

The Kochs are not good people, but we knew that when we realized the Koch brothers inherited not just an oil company from their father, but also his affinity for the John Birch society. Utilizing a corporate culture of lawlessness in order to achieve unfathomable wealth, the Koch Brothers have been pushing for an even smaller government; ie, less regulations for them to have to lie, cheat, and steal their way around.

Between their failure to abide by regulations killing two teenagers in Texas and the toxic, cancerous smoke they knowingly poisoned a community with, one can see why their argument for less regulation makes sense.

It’s a pain in the bum to cheat and pay your way out of killing others. Who needs regulations when we have such good actors as the Koch Brothers?

Graft and greed – these are the values being sold as patriotism and capitalism by the far Right. In point of fact, capitalism is not the same as theft, graft, or lawlessness – it’s only being sold as such because that is convenient for those who do not want to follow the laws, let alone be a good corporate actor.

One wonders when the right will begin to ponder Fox News’ largest shareholder outside of Murdoch being a Saudi Prince, the envelopes stuffed with cash no different than the mafia they love to rail on about, petrochemicals sold to Iran and their belief that we don’t need regulations.

Ever wonder what the Tea Party’s small government looks like?

Envelopes stuffed with cash, criminal violations, cancerous smoke and 400 million dollars in fines in 4 years topped off with some felony charges. The profit made from avoiding regulations goes into the pockets of paid corporate spokespeople who don’t reveal their connections to the Oz behind the curtain, but instead sell “small government” to the Kool-Aid drinking Fox-stupefied under the guise of “Tea Party values”.

We can’t afford to wait for the Right to wake up, because money woven secretly into paid product placement selling itself as an ideology (aka: propaganda) is too big to fight with the truth alone. And also because the kinds of people who are prone to buying into Joe the Plumber without seeing the craven cynicism behind him aren’t likely to see behind Sarah Palin or Glenn Beck either, both of whom are paid to hate and lie with money bleeding with the Koch brothers treason. Money that is only possible because of violations, graft, poison, theft, and death. These are people who still accuse this President of palling around with terrorists, while they follow a corporation selling petrochemicals to the “Axis of Evil”.

The fact that the Tea Partiers didn’t sense a problem when their own leaders are being paid 300,000 a year to organize them tells us we had best not wait around for them to wake up. They will continue to inaccurately defend dealing with the Axis of Evil and killing American teenagers as part of the great system of capitalism. Capitalism, in fact, does not necessarily imply such dark greed; however, companies like the Koch brothers are the very reason we need regulations.

If it weren’t for lawless corporations like the Koch brothers, it might be possible to let the markets regulate themselves. Isn’t that ironic? But since they won’t regulate themselves, they require paid spokespeople who are soulless enough to sell the Koch brothers’ bastardized version of capitalism in order to facilitate their corporate lawlessness. The Right calls this patriotism.
