Promote My Blog-March Give Away!

I started this blog during the 2008 elections for my granddaughter.  Until a short time ago it was a private blog with just a few friends and family members able to read it.  Several suggested I open it to the public.  Since it has been open to the public for such a short time, my purpose for promoting is to promote conversation.

Even though my stats show that I have a lot of viewers in such a short time, most of my FB friends go back to my page to comment because I share these post there as well as on Twitter.

Republicans just killed unemployment benefit extensions for Americans out of pettiness and with an eye toward political gain. They know that if the Democrats can’t help the economy by this fall, the Democrats will suffer at the polls.

“Republicans in the Senate have defeated an election-year bill to continue weekly jobless benefits for millions of long-term unemployed workers. The 57-41 loss was a major blow for President Barack Obama and Democrats. They needed three more votes — for a total of 60 — to stop a GOP filibuster.
