Bristol Palin and Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino talk about hooking up and magnum condoms in a new PSA to help prevent teen pregnancy. Awkward! The unwed baby momma and Jersey Shore star want you to PBYP, or "pause before you play." In the ad, B-Palin, as the Sitch calls her, promotes abstinence while the Situation advocates safe sex in a fake heart-to-heart backstage on Dancing With The Stars.  Don't forget to check out the Update at the bottom of the page!

Palin's Daughter Pregnant, Campaign Announces











John McCain's running mate Sarah Palin said Monday that her 17-year-old unmarried daughter is five months pregnant, an announcement aimed at rebutting Internet rumors that Palin's youngest son, born in April, was actually her daughter's.

A statement released by the campaign said that Bristol Palin will keep her baby and marry the child's father. Bristol Palin is five months pregnant, and the baby is due in late December.

Just a few responses to this announcement:

gyb-Palin has staunchly opposed sex education programs while supporting abstinence programs and now her child may very well serve as the poster child of this failed policy. Palin is certainly worthy of inclusion on a "Republican ticket" as she continues the example of "failed policies" set by GW. But it's not just abortion policy that has Democrats up in arms over Palin. In that same 2006 questionnaire, the soon-to-be governor said she would fund abstinence-only education programs in schools. "The explicit sex-ed programs," she added, "will not find my support." The stance, which reflected the priorities of the GOP, nevertheless led to an incredulous editorial in the Juneau Empire.

"Abstinence may be a laudable goal, but failing to educate teenagers about how to protect themselves from disease or unintended pregnancy is tragically misguided. According to the National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, abstinence-only programs do not reduce sexual activity, teen pregnancy or sexually transmitted disease. Every day 10,000 U.S. teens contract a sexually transmitted disease, 2,400 get pregnant and 55 contract HIV. Unintended pregnancies happen to Republicans, Democrats and people of all faiths."

So she admits her daughter had a CHOICE?!?!? That it was HER decision?!?!?!?
