Osama bin Laden, the leader of Al Qaeda and the mastermind of the September 11th attacks, has been killed, according to all the major networks and top newspapers. He was killed in a mansion outside of Islamabad, Pakistan, along with family members, according to CNN's Ed Henry. US military bases around the world are on high alert in case of retaliation. The New York Times says that the US has the body and DNA confirmation that it is bin Laden's.
