Sarah Palin chose (B): Ten questions for mothers

Reader Jim (aka Prup), a friend and frequent commenter at Cogitamus--and someone who does have a few differences with me about Sarah Palin's motivations as well as those of the mainstream media journalists who to this day have not investigated the ex-governor's strange, inconsistency and lie-filled stories* surrounding what has come to be known as Babygate--has written a terrific set of questions designed to get Palin supporters thinking.**

Thank you, Jim. Take it away...

Ten Questions for Sarah Palin's supporters who are also mothers:

1. If you were a state governor who was eight months pregnant--and remember, Sarah Palin already knew hers was a high-risk pregnancy because of her age (44) and, according to her book, her baby having been diagnosed via amniocentesis as having Down syndrome--and you were scheduled to fly some 4,000 miles from home to give a speech at a conference, would you (a) give your speech from home via teleconferencing, using modern real-time technology, and explain to your hosts that the high-risk nature and advanced stage of your pregnancy made you reluctant to fly; or, alternatively, send the deputy governor to give your speech or (b) dismiss any staff or security slated to fly with you and insist on flying 4,000 miles to the conference yourself?

Sarah Palin chose (b).

2. If, while attending this conference, you experienced leaking amniotic fluid and felt early contractions on the morning before you were scheduled to speak, would you (a) hand the speech to someone else, ask him or her to give it on your behalf, and go straight to the nearest hospital--one that was equipped for handling high-risk mothers, premature births, and special-needs infants--and get yourself checked out by a doctor or (b) continue with your day and give the speech anyway?

Something STINKS in Alaska-The American Life Of Sarah Palin

In her book that she did not write, "Going Rogue" is supposedly about the American Life of Sarah Palin, but this blog I discovered opens up the possibility of the Real Life of Sarah Palin. I spent hours reading last night as the author of the blog weaves together time lines and stories of the Palins and life in Alaska. (I will note here that I have spent much time since the election researching Palins and have never believed for one minute that Sarah is the mother ofTrig Palin)

I have been in constant amazement since Palin stepped onto the platform as VP of her ignorance and ability to pump up the crowd in a frenzy of hate and racism. What amazes me more is the media response to this woman. They don't want to touch the truth behind this woman because they are either afraid of her or the train wreck has brought them such high ratings that the truth no longer matters. (I'm not just talking fox noise but mainstream media as well) From what I can see, the truth would make them all rich as well so why are they protecting her? Judge for yourself!~Mem

Palin Babygate

The Great White Shark
We all know exactly what these three guys are staring at, and it isn't some sexy lady walking by in a bikini. With all due respect to the ladies who actually questioned The Wild Ride and loaded up the Babygate bandwagon even before we guys stopped being mesmerized by the cute librarian's winking, blinking, and waving, this is a story about the guys. Audrey, Morgan, Helen, Bree, and a number of others long ago recognized a fish tale when they heard it, but it took us guys a little longer to step back from the pretty lady, take a deep breath, and smell the stench of pit bull doo-doo, even when it was colored nicely with lipstick. I'm sure all you long-time readers of the blogs will recognize these three shark hunters as the resident lawman, the outside upstart, and the grizzled old-timer. If you have not yet sorted out the players, I am sure by the end of this article, you will fully understand. Read More....

Coincidental Evidence

Sarah Palin doesn't believe in coincidences.

Back in 1967, Benjamin Braddock sat in on a few courses at Berkeley. Ben had already received his undergraduate degree with honors from an unnamed Ivy League university, but he was not enrolled in the graduate program at UC Berkeley. He was driving around campus in his red Alfalfa Duetto Spider, a rare model built only in '67, and following Elaine Robinson wh
erever she went. Ben did not want Elaine dating and marrying the local hunk frat rat, so he was just making himself as visible to her as possible. We did not use the word back in The Sixties, but now we call it stalking. Norman Fell, who would later make a name for himself simply by being continually suspicious that Jack Tripper was not gay, was quite suspicious of the activities of Benjamin Braddock. He thought Ben was an outside agitator and he didn't like him, even a little bit. Ben was simply a nice guy in love, but Norman Fell's character didn't know that. Read More....

The Secret Gag Order
There has been one, particular, very stinky odor surrounding the whole Palin Phenomenon since the beginning: the secret gag order that has so obviously been taped across the mouths and keyboards of all the media. The latest Saint Sarah cover story in Newsweek is only the latest in a long line of supposed journalistic endeavors that are nothing more than a regurgitation of an unscrupulous politician's lies. If this poot emitted from the rear end of this particular skunk had even once been questioned or analyzed, the attitudes of all of us caught within sniffing range might not be so restless. The fact is that not one single television or major print journalist has even remotely attempted to tell us the truth about this issue. The closest we have come is through Andrew Sullivan, who after reading the stinky poop passed off as journalism by Lisa Miller, asked her directly for the source of her story. She had the gall to shovel self-righteous horseshit back on Andrew as if he were the impertinent one! Read More...

Sarah Going Crazy On FB-Claims She's A Babygate Victim

How long can Sarah keep up this lie? The fact that she has put herself out there for the religious right as the model mother and woman for this Country has become a joke! The woman has been caught telling so many lies that she can't even keep up with them anymore. This story does matter because she is putting herself out there for a possible 2012 Presidential Candidate! The media didn't even care that Fox accidentally outed her through her own daughters (Bristol Palin) testimony at the email hacker trial. Even many of Palin's supporters have asked her why she doesn't just present a birth certificate and medical records for Trig to put an end to the stories? So Sarah, why? Sarah and if you decide to ever tell the truth we would love to hear about your first Son and how about the story concerning Todd's business partner? Oh so many secrets Sarah! What a book your "ghost writer" could write if you ever decided to tell the truth!~Mem

Sarah Claims Babygate Conspiracy

Posted on July 26, 2010 by Jason Easley

Never one to let an opportunity to play the victim pass her by, Sarah Palin took to her Facebook page to blast the media for what she called, “A dark and demented conspiracy regarding my son, Trig.” According to Palin, this is why she doesn’t talk to anyone but the friendliest right wing media, and she refuses to do serious interviews because the media is out to get her.

The Daily Caller, who Palin just happened to give a friendly interview to last week, has been selectively releasing, a.k.a. Breitbarting parts of the Journolist email exchange. Here is part of what was released about Baby Gate from August 2008:

“Obama absolutely cannot touch this. Even if it’s true. I think the press would justify covering it on the issue of trust, but for me it’s offensive that she would refuse to allow her daughter the choice. She has no business deciding what to make of that pregnancy. If her daughter wanted an abortion, it speaks very ill of Palin’s character to deny her the option.”

Sara Mead

“A note to journolisters who may not be aware of this: “Downs child” is NOT an appropriate or sensitive way to refer to Palin’s son, who has Down Syndrome. Please use “people-first” language here. I’m not at all a fan of Palin, either, but as liberals and decent human beings, we should be respectful in how we refer to people with disabilities.”
