I also find it ironic and amusing that we have One Mormon, Two Catholics and One Protestant on the ticket this year! The Pat Robertson "types", the extreme religious right think that the Mormon and Catholic Church are of the devil but yet they REFUSE to vote for the "Christian" because he is BLACK!

I also believe that Willard Romney believes his VP pick will get us off the subject of his tax returns, outsourcing jobs, his money in other Countries and SO much more!  NOT!  In fact let's continue to stand with Harry and demand that Romney release 10 years of tax returns! 

Many of the "Do as I say, not what I do", Ron Paul followers will be fooled by this man because they are too naive to realize what will really happen to this Country if we allow these two men into the White House.  I still have a $126,000 three day medical bill from my husbands death that I cannot pay.  (I actually got medical bills before I got my husbands ashes or death certificate)  Paul Ryan, Willard Romney and the Party Of NO is exactly why we "American's" are losing our jobs, homes and our lives!-Mem

A Message To My Friends....

I know that many of my friends on FB and Twitter are probably wondering if I have gone insane.  The answer to that would be, temporarily! Many of my postings after Kevin died were filled with anger and bitterness and then I hit a low where I was no longer angry, just sad.  I just haven't had it in me to fight anymore.  Talking politics was the way Kevin and I started our mornings over a cup of coffee.  Without him, it didn't seem important anymore.

I have spent most of my time these past months sitting on the back porch staring out onto the property.  (It is still hard for me to believe that almost a half a year has passed, it still feels like yesterday) Asking why, crying a lot and trying to find a glimpse of Kev in the sky, the tree's, the animals or anything around me.  I have spent most of my time trying to wipe out the memory of that last day, the guilt, the sadness, the unbelief and the horrible pain it left in my heart.

Do You Remember?

Many forgot during the mid-term elections and now our Country is paying for it.  All of us better remember in Nov. that the tea party republicans do not care that you are losing your homes, your jobs, your health and your lives as long as the rich are taken care of!  I hope everyone remembers which party is really taking our freedoms away, under the guise of "fighting for freedom".  I hope everyone remembers that if you vote tea party republican in Nov. you are voting to take away your parents and even your own Social Security, Medicare and our freedoms! Who uses "entitlements"?

In this small Texas town that is 90% republicans and teabaggers, I have noticed a huge amount of people here who are on unemployment, welfare, food stamps, social security disability and medicare.  Same goes for the small republican town in Colorado that I was raised in.  Now with that said, I hardly know any democrats who use these "entitlements" unless they are really hurting and that is a fact.  My hubby just talked to our neighbors who are both retired with a good pension, get medicare and hit five different food banks around this area each month.  AND YET, they allow their party to do this!-Mem
