Isn't it time the media starts giving equal time to Palin's buddy list of anti-American bombers and other radical associates?

I think since Sarah Palin is still on the road questioning the President and the first ladies love for this Country, it is time the Country takes a long hard look at the Palin's love for the AIP who hated America! (Especially since Sarah Palin keeps hinting that she will run in 2012)  If the media won't do their jobs then the people need to.  I hope all viewers will share and make this topic go viral!-Mem

I AM ANGRY, I'M SAD, MY HEART IS HEAVY AND THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!

This story was sent to me today by a friend and I am so deeply saddened. I am sad that we live in a country where this could even be a possibility one more time. I can only imagine the deep sadness our father in heaven must feel when we as a human race destroy what he considers so precious. We take a life, we look down on a life and we treat a life like it is less then when in his eyes we are all equal. In his eyes the color of our skin, the extent of our education, the amount of money we have has no bearings on his love for us. If my grief can be this strong for a boy I did not know, for a family who is suffering such a pain, I can only imagine the grief that God must feel for the loss of a child he created. No matter what our faith, our beliefs or groups we belong to, this has got to stop.

We cannot continue to let people like Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh and Beck decide how we will treat each other. -Mem

Jasper-Style Lynching in Paris, Texas!
Jasper-Style Lynching! Reporting on the Grounds in Paris, Texas
Reposted from: Brother Jesse Blog

Written by Jesse Muhammad
On Saturday, October 4, I received a serious phone call from Krystal Muhammad of the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) in regards to a possible dragging death in Paris, Texas which is located about five hours north of Houston. The first thing that immediately came to my mind was that 2008 is the tenth anniversary of the lynching of James Byrd, Jr. in Jasper, Texas. Liken unto that case, the victim in Paris was said to be a 24-year-old Black man and his killers were two White men, possible four.

I immediately Googled the town and saw that there were only a handful of media outlets that had covered the story which involved Brandon McClelland and these two White males. One reason possibly that there was hardly any coverage was that this killing took place on September 16, which was the tail end of Hurricane Ike hitting landfall so I am sure the town officials were hoping this would be swept under the rug. Too bad, because the Final Call is on top of it!

Sister Kyrtle told me that members of the NBPP Dallas Chapter were on the grounds already to meet with the family. So myself, Sis Krystle and my older brother Deric Muhammad hit the road on Sunday, October 5 to do some on the grounds work to see what really happened.

After a five hour drive, we arrived in the 'hood of Paris. We then caravaned over to the home of the McClelland family where Brandon's mother sat on the porch with tears in her eyes. Ms. Jacqueline McClelland and her family gave recorded statements to me for my Final Call story as well as the NBPP for an independent investigation. We were also joined by local activists, a head of the State NAACP chapter and other friends of the family.

After hearing their accounts, it was verified that her son was dragged on the back of a pickup truck by these two White males (it has now been confirmed that their were only two) and his body was dismembered. Jasper all over again. Afterwards we drove over to the grave site.
We then went to the scene of the crime in Lamar County. You would not believe that parts of that Brandon McClelland's skull was still out there on the ground! Shows how much the police cared. It was like an episode of CSI:NY with blood tracks up and down the road and tire marks chased by the blood trails. This was one of the most painful stories I have had to cover in person.
They tied my son to that truck and drugged him until his body parts were detached", said his mother Jacqueline McClelland to the Final Call. "His body was so destroyed that it could not even be embalmed by the funeral home. This is a hate crime. I don't want the death penalty for these killers because that would be too quick. I want them to suffer for life in jail without parole since I will never have my son back."

Read my entire story in next week's edition of the Final Call Newspaper.Posted By Brother Jesse to Brother Jesse Blog: Jasper-Style Lynching! Reporting on the Grounds in Paris, Texas 10/09/2008 06:11:00 PM

The hate, fear, racism and Mob Mentality that the McCain/Palin campaign has incited in our country has got to stop. They have to be held accountable by the American people and the media has to be held accountable for their part in this. You don't just keep showing, airing and promoting the lies and the hatred. A responsible News Station would call them on this, would refuse to air any rallies or ads that are negative and incite hate, racism, fear and mob mentality!

On President's Day, Remember Your 5 Black Presidents

Compiled by the DiversityInc staff

February 15, 2008

We keep hearing that this year will mark the first time a major political party in the United States nominated a woman or a Black person as its presidential candidate. For women, that is true, but some historians say Sen. Barack Obama, if elected, would not be the nation's first Black president. They say he certainly won't be the first president with Black ancestors--just the first to acknowledge his Blackness.

Which other presidents hid their African ancestry? Well, it's not Bill Clinton, even though the Congressional Black Caucus honored him as the nation's "first Black president" at its 2001 annual awards dinner. Presidents Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Warren Harding and Calvin Coolidge all had Black ancestors they kept in their genealogical closets, according to historians.

Harding did not deny his African ancestry when Republican leaders called on him to deny his "Negro" history. He said, "How should I know whether or not one of my ancestors might have jumped the fence?"

Does African ancestry make these men Black? If the bar is the one-drop rule, then yes. The one-drop rule is a historical term used during the Jim Crow era that defines a person with one drop of sub-Saharan-African ancestry as not white and therefore must be Black. If that's the bar, then there have already been other Black presidents, says historian Leroy Vaughn, author of Black People and Their Place in World History.

The first president with African ancestry was Jefferson, who served two terms between 1801 and 1809. Jefferson was described as the "son of a half-breed Indian squaw and a Virginia mulatto father," as stated in Vaughn's findings. Jefferson also was said to have destroyed all documentation attached to his mother, even going to extremes to seize letters written by his mother to other people.

President Andrew Jackson, the nation's seventh president, was in office between 1829 and 1837. Vaughn cites an article written in The Virginia Magazine of History that states Jackson was the son of an Irish woman who married a Black man. The magazine also stated that Jackson's oldest brother had been sold as a slave.

Lincoln, the nation's 16th president, served between 1861 and 1865. Lincoln was said to have been the illegitimate son of an African man, according to Vaughn's findings. Lincoln had very dark skin and coarse hair and his mother allegedly came from an Ethiopian tribe. His heritage fueled so much controversy that Lincoln was nicknamed "Abraham Africanus the First" by his opponents.

President Warren Harding, the 29th president, in office between 1921 and 1923, apparently never denied his ancestry. According to Vaughn, William Chancellor, a professor of economics and politics at Wooster College in Ohio, wrote a book on the Harding family genealogy. Evidently, Harding had Black ancestors between both sets of parents. Chancellor also said that Harding attended Iberia College, a school founded to educate fugitive slaves.

Coolidge, the nation's 30th president, served between 1923 and 1929 and supposedly was proud of his heritage. He claimed his mother was dark because of mixed Indian ancestry. Coolidge's mother's maiden name was "Moor," and in Europe, the name "Moor" was given to all Blacks, just as "Negro" was used in America. It later was concluded that Coolidge was part Black.

Evidently, Harding had black ancestors between both sets of parents. Harding also attended Iberia College, a school founded to educate fugitive slaves.
