If you are a survivor or knew a survivor we would also love to hear your story.
May we never forget the victims, their families and the first responders who were there in our Countries time of need.
I had just gotten up and my hubby was getting ready for work. I turned the TV on while I was making coffee and it was all over the news that a plane had just hit one of the towers. I told Kevin what was going on so he came into the living room and we set in disbelief as the events of that day unfolded. My husband did not go to work as we were both in shock, worried about our children and what else might be conspiring throughout the whole Country. It was a day of shock, sadness, lots of tears and for me a day of fear.
Please Note
I am so grateful for the stories that are being posted and have chosen not to respond to each story as I feel the need to let them stand alone for everyone to read and take in. My heart is pounding as I read each one, knowing that we were all effected by that day and the feelings that we have carried with us since that day. -Mem
