HYPOCRISY OF FAMILY VALUES AND THE LAW

Family Values? Good example for children? Maybe dressing like this is what got Sarah pregnant before her and Todd were married?

...In addition, Alaska statutory rape laws declare that anyone who is 18 years old or older who has sex with a person who is 16 or 17, or who is at least three years younger than the offender, can be charged with sexual abuse in the third degree. This is also a felony...
Alaska statutory rape laws carry punishments that include imprisonment and fines.

I know that children are suppose to be off limits but Palin is the one who threw her own daughter under the bus and then McCains campaign made a big deal about it when the media got involved. (Obviously the apple does not fall too far from the tree since it has been reported that Palin and her husband eloped when Palin was pregnant. I say reported because I do not know this for a fact) I don't have a problem with someone getting pregnant out of wedlock; I have a problem with their hypocrisy on family values and the hypocrisy of the law.

My question would be the same as a bloggers post on the political blog. I have myself asked this several times of the media and no one wants to address the issue. I'm sure because right now they are in the middle of airing her and McShames lies. They don't want to stop the roll with facts but maybe at some point…this will be an issue as it should be!-Mem

If you are Gov. Palin's daughter and become pregnant at 17 by someone who is 18; it is a personal, family matter and a miracle of God.
If you are 18 or older and have sex with a minor (17 or younger) and you are NOT related to Gov. Palin, you are considered a felon by Alaska's laws because I believe in Alaska there is a Statutory Rape law on the books that says that if an 18yr old has sex with a 17yr old it is a felony. Gee, does this mean some convicted felons in Alaska serving time for Statutory Rape can petition for a pardon? Yikes, that's scary. Way to go Gov. Palin; career first; daughter is "collateral damage"!!! –free expression
