Update! OMG Kevin would really be smiling now!  Colorado just legalized Marijuana! For those who don't know Kevin was pronounced dead at 4:20.  I know that also made him smile!

Being here in Colorado again I am now realizing that many here are voting based on fear of the "scary black man". 

Their justification is economy, smaller government, parroting Fox Propaganda, but MANY of these people honestly believe that the President is a Muslim. When did Colorado people get so damn stupid? Many have said...have you watched 2016? Seriously? 

Many of these people are "Christians" who are voting for "the Mormon" who they have spent their whole lives calling a "cult" but better then the "scary black man who is a Muslim and those Muslims all want to kill us" I've been where you are!

It explains exactly why the republicans must bring out their old playbook and even the most simple of minds can surly understand this. I have recently heard friends from the right (yes I have some) state that they think Sarah Palin is "smart". Okay, I said I have some friends on the right, I didn't say they were playing with a full deck and yes my mouth drops a little further each time I hear this. May I say or SHOUT to them ONE more time....Sarah is NOT smart and you have forced me to use the word stupid....there is no other way to put it! I have tried to always say ignorant but the woman really is just STUPID with the ability to anger the crowd.

Unlike his Bible-thumping dad, Nate Phelps likes Lady Gaga’s music and feels sorry for Mel Gibson.

Phelps has also been hired as the executive director of the Alberta branch of the Centre for Inquiry (CFI) Canada.

CFI is an atheist charity that promotes “skeptical, secular, rational and humanistic enquiry.”

In recent months, Phelps, 51, garnered international attention after speaking out against his father’s hatred and intolerance messages and in support of gays.

Last May, Phelps spoke with Xtra about growing up in a Christian fundamentalist household. He talked about being angry with the homophobia spread by his father, the infamous Southern Baptist minister Fred Phelps. GOP Rep. Bob Inglis slams Republicans for being led by hate radio, ‘preying on fears.’

I always try to give credit where credit is due and my hat is off to Bob Inglis! Sometimes people step up and do the right thing. It's really to bad that he lost the primary but I guess he just wasn't hateful enough for the tea party or republicans! What a shame!~Mem

Rep. Bob Inglis (R-SC), who lost recently in his primary run-off for the Republican nomination to keep his seat in Congress, is speaking out about the influence of hate radio and right-wing fear mongering in the Republican Party. In an interview with the AP, Inglis called out reactionaries like Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck for spreading “demagoguery” and hatred in society:
