So That Ignorance Won't Be The Reason Why "Progressives" Are Throwing The President Under The Bus

This is a summation of the first two years of the Obama Administration's accomplishments to remind us all about what it means to have the majority in Congress that can actually pass legislation and effect the kind of change that guided the State of our country's affair in the right path. Whether we like what the Obama Administration accomplished or not is beside the point but it takes a majority to push for something as we had witnessed during the first two years of the Obama Administration.

It’s tough being a Progressive these days. Hell, it’s tough being an American these days, but I digress. As Progressives, there is a lot we agree upon – We want fair/progressive taxation. We want multinational corporations to bring jobs back to the US. We want universal healthcare. We want a reliable social safety net. We want equal rights for all. We want clean water and safe food. We want an end to the wars. We want the Bush regime to be tried for their crimes. We want banksters and other corporate masters to be held accountable for their sins…perhaps more importantly, we want their money out of our democracy.

Stop whining and fix your mistake!

As I look around on FB today all I see is bitching and whining from the progressives.  I have to say that at this moment I would love to just bitch slap the whole lot.

If they would take more responsibility for their actions instead of putting blame on the President then maybe the Democrats could actually get something done.  Maybe the President wouldn't always have to compromise to keep this Country afloat. (I'm sure my parents who are republicans are grateful they will get their SSI checks and soldiers are grateful that they will be paid for serving this Country.  Most importantly we won't wake up to the worst depression since the great depression)

This is only a SMALL portion of what he HAS done, so I would ask ALL Americans, what the hell do you want from him?-Mem

This is the republican party that I grew up with.  This is who my parents are and raised me to be but that party no longer exist, and that is why I stepped out of the past and embraced the promises of change and I have not regretted it for even a moment!-Mem
